Xoma, which develops technology for algae cultivation, will move its CLAS operations to a separate subsidiary during the first quarter of 2026. This is stated in a press release.The move is being made due to the company's ambition to list the subsidiary separately within the next 24 months. CLAS is said to have a potential valuation of between SEK 30-40 million, according to a recently conducted paid valuation analysis, writes Xoma.The development and commercialization of CLAS are intended to be financed with external capital, for example through the planned separate listing as well as potential partnerships and investments."We see clear commercial interest in CLAS, and our ambition is to give the technology the best possible conditions to grow in its own structure with external financing. This allows us to continue focusing our internal resources on FLOW while CLAS gets the opportunity to develop optimally," says Mourad Lahdo, CEO of Xoma.
